OMG, can i REALLY do this?

I just signed up for an informational meeting for a Team-in Training Triathlon event. See, for the last few years I’ve really wanted to do a Triathlon. I will be turning 40 this year and am having the need to put a goal on myself for my 40th bday. That kind of thing is new to me - goals, care about aging, etc. I am excited and INCREDIBLY nervous because now I have told people I am doing it - it’s not just in my crazy little head…

okay, gotta go get the kiddo from school, will try and read up later. i’d like to write more, too, but i’ll leave you with this - i am about to throw away some more chocolate, fudge, and choc fortune cookies. None of them are too intersting to me but if they are hear I will eventually eat them.

Woo hoo! OMG - I am sooooooo anxoius (about the triathlon not the throwing away food!)

Here’s the event - the Hyannis Triathlon

Oh my goodness Debbie, I am so proud of you! And you have just inspired me to think big. *HUGS*

Way to go on knowing yourself, being great with who you are and ridding the house of the junk. I NEED to do this too.

Have a wonderful week. Thanks for sharing a road to peace (sometimes I just can not find it within) and your beaUtiful determination. :)

Congratulations!! This just may be what the Dr. ordered and you’re doing it for two great causes, yourself and Team in Training, which by the way is a great organization!! I have no doubt that you can do this because of your drive and determination, I also know that you can do it because TinT is perhaps the best charitable training program out there!! I did three of my marathon trainings with the AIDS Marathon Organization, because AIDS is a cause near and dear to my heart. I have done 3 marathons for AIDS and 3 marathons on my own…..each time I crossed the finish line KNOWING that I was doing it for something I believe in made things that much sweeter! So congrats!! I am so proud and so happy for you. And doubt yourself no more!! 2009 is the year you become a triathlete!!

Could you please take a picture of the food in the trash as we need evidence you “actually” did it. *snickers again* Deb did it the other day and she had rays of sunlight hitting it like “ahhhhhhhh”.

Can’t wait to hear more about the triathalon! :)

I cannot express how proud I am of you! To do something like that is an awesome thing and I can’t wait to hear what you are doing to plan for it and then of course being able to brag about you to everyone I know. “My friend Deb, well she did a triathalon! She rocks!!!” I wish we had stuff like that around here. Better yet, I wish I could do yours with you!

How exciting! Of course you can do it. I can understand why you’re nervous, but pushing yourself and doing this will be such a rewarding experience!
