feeling like a loser…

but not in the good i’m losing way. in the oh no i’m not losing way. i’m letting my cat team down. i’m not focused right now, i’m not making the time for Bslim and i’m nopt eating within good limits. adjusting to life with two kids isn’t so hard except that it leaves so very little time for things like this. waah. i need my Bslim to keep going. I need also to decide it is time.

speaking of time have to run and get A to school then pick up inlaws from airport.

will leave you with our great news - My hubby got spared this round of layoffs at his company. there will be more to come in january, but for now we are okay. can you say PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being a young mother is a lot of exercise anyway. Pack up that 2 year old and head out. The trick to staying at home is not to.
Pick up 10 toys and put the away and jump in the car or on a bus or walk to the nearest mall and spend the day pushing junior around. When you get home your house will not be messier (hint: you have been gone) and you will have walked and walked. The next day pick up 10 toys and head to the airport and walk around and watch the people. Head to the park the next and while junior is playing walk around the perimeter, find a “step” step up, step down, push a swing until your arms fall off. You get the idea…. Exercise on the cheap, don’t be home. Junior won’t have time to mess it up. And if he/she falls asleep in the car seat, let him nap there in the garage, or if cold/hot bring the carseat in. Don’t mess with a sleeping kiddo. They can sleep anywhere. Don’t let them over sleep, they need to be in bed early so you can recoup. You are so worn out with kids when they are young it’s hard to find time for you. Also if you are watching tv and snacking, place your snack in the kitchen. Rule: only one piece of popcorn at a time. Get up, go to the kitchen eat one piece and a sip of water, sit back down. Get up, go to the kitchen eat one piece and a sip of water, sit back down. Hee, hee…. you will get a bunch of walking in. Water, water, water too. Good luck mommy.

Great news about the layoff! Something to smile and be thankful for. :)

So you’re having a tough time getting back into the swing of things after childbirth. It’s a HUGE adjustment sweetie, and it will take a little time to find that new routine that works for you. I’ve just come through a major slump myself and I’m now getting back on the path that I want to be on. Let me tell you, being off that path was no fun. So do whatever you have to do to get BACK that “want to”. I can promise you that you will feel mucho better when you do. Start out with just ONE day. That’s all. Just ONE day. Make a plan. Do it. Go outside and look up in the sky and breath in deep and smile, then go back inside and GET STARTED! I promise you won’t regret it.

    Hugggggggggggggs,
    Shan

Okay, that’s TWO message that have disappeared on this blog. THIS IS WAR! lol

Debs, just ONE day. Start with just ONE day. Make a plan and just do it. That’s my challenge to you.

I love yarrow’s ideas… I always used my little ones as weights for stay in days. situps with one sitting on your chest, leg lifts disguised as horsey rides… they think they’re getting play time, and mommy is getting quite the workout!

Hang in there, things balance out, some bad days, some good days. (((Debbie)))

Phew! I hope that he is also spared in January, but it is good to hear that his job is safe for today!

I hope you find your mojo soon! :)

Happy hubby has his job. Let’s keep it like that!

Miss Debbie, I already gave you some tough love in an email so I’m not going to do it again here. Know that we are here for you and you are NOT leaving us down! I’m glad you are spared through the rest of the year. :) (((((Deb)))))

Debbie, Debbie, Debbie! You are not a loser! You stop it now, don’t MAKE me come looking for you! Love you, lots!

Lady, relax!! You just had a baby for Heaven’s sakes—see, this is what we do to ourselves!! We don’t give ourselves permission to be what we are—less than perfect!! I for one am very, very proud of you, God knows having one little one is hard, but two? You can down play it all you want, but I am sure, it’s no walk in the park! So, hold your head up high, stick your boobies out and walk tall and proud in knowing that even if you’re not 100% on the losing end, you’re still doing something, and a combination of little somethings, eventually add up to good results!! Hang in there!! I believe in you and I know you will get past this, before you know it, you will be one hot MILF!!

Debbie….you will adjust, give yourself a little time to get your bearings. Nobody said you had to start the day after delivery, and I’m not telling you to wait until next year. You just had the little one! A little time can do wonders..You will get there. I know it, you know it.

  13. readytoemerge @ November 15th, 2008

It can take time sometimes to adjust and prepare our minds for the work ahead. You will do it and Im sure you’ll be on track before long. Enjoy that baby :)
