how do you do it?

just realized that i would LOVE to hear when everyone does their workouts and what do you do. When do you make/take the time? Morning, afternoon, night. What time to do you go to sleep? For stay at home mom’s what do you do? Mom’s that are passed the little kid phase - any advice? Just wanted to open it up for some help in scheduling. I love to hear the details of how people make changes and priorities!!

    I usually exercise whenever I feel like it. No set schedule. Not yet anyway. The important thing is to get it in. Good luck!

    My 6 year old just go his first bike so I’m doing a lot of sprinting these days ;)

    I like to workout in the early morning because then it’s over and done with. I do a boot camp classs atthe gym I belong to 3 days a week at 6am and weights on my own 2days a week and cardio 6 days a week. I usually do intervall training for cardio, mixing it up keeps your body from adapting too fast. I also weight lift pretty heavy but I’m trying to build muscle so you might want to go light weight with high reps to burn more calories, keeping your heart rate up.
    I try to get in bed no later then 9pm so i put the kids to bed between 8 and 8:30 and that gives me 30 minutes to unwind and catch up on Law and Order SVU.

    I work out as soon as I get home for work. I don’t waste any time because if I procrastinate it will never get done.

    I like to get my workout in as early as possible. I have 3 kids to get ready for school or this or that though so normally I take two of them with me to the gym at around 9 in the morning but I sometimes feel rushed because I have to get it in before it is time for my middle one to go to preschool. Sorry, I am rambling. Since it is getting to be cold out now, I don’t like to drag them out as much so on my Hubby’s days off, I go to the gym and when he is working, I do my workout DVD’s at home. This schedule seems to be fine til it gets warm again. Whatever you decide, just don’t put it off. Get it in sometime! Good luck to you.

    Working out ha ha. Well I plan on after the first of the year going in the afternoon when my bf gets home from school. He has a 3 hour break then he goes to work. Can’t go in the morning cause he leaves at 7:30 am and that is when I have to get my older 2 girls up and out the door to school,but that can be a workout in its self cause it is a struggle to keep them moving so I am on them like white on rice till the walk out the door by then my 1 year old is up and on the go. As far as sleep ha that is funny I go to bed at about 1 am and up at 7:30 am. After the first of the year that 3 hours the bf is home it is my time for me!!!
