i ate cake!

okay, so one piece of cake is not so bad, but then i ate too much dinner and now i don’t want to go walk the dog or go to the gym tonight, i just want popcorn and tv. i’m tired. i’m a little worn out.  i’m feeling like eating ALOT.  bummer, i liked the other feeling better!

    You’ll feel better if you go for a walk or to the gym.
    Its just taking that step to do it that can be hard.

    Ugh!! I hate when I feel like this…is there something that can be triggering these feelings? Perhaps you’re anxious about something—or nervous or maybe you’re lonely. I don’t know, I only ask because I find that I eat to drown feelings I don’t want to deal with!

    Just a question….. about how much protein do you get in your day? I like a mostly vegetarian diet (though I need my fish) and sometimes I get a little blue if I do not get enough protein. LOVE my carbs, but I also have to balance the carbs/protein/fat. Have you ever discovered any relation with mood and sugar ? It has plagued me all my life and I am so glad I have some nutrition knowledge to deal with some of the things I can control. Take care.
